Our first event of the new season will be a season launch bowls night at the Richmond Union bowls club on Saturday 18th February. We had an event there last year which was a great night and we look forward to seeing a host of new faces down this year. It should be a great chance to get to know some of the newer faces at the club as well as catching up with older ones. Cost will be $15 for bowling and includes a BBQ dinner with drinks from the bar at (almost) genuine 1972 prices. Feel free to bring partners along. Night kicks off at 5pm until about 10ish where we can move down the road to the Bridge Hotel. (more…)
The club is excited to announce the appointments of two new coaches for season 2012 that complete all our appointments. Jorge Gero will coach the Ladies team and Andrew La Greca will coach the Ducks. (more…)
Old Xaverians Soccer Club has announced it will be fielding a women’s team for the first time in 2012, the same year it celebrates its 10th anniversary. We are seeking expressions of interest for a volunteer to coach this team in its debut season. Applicants to the position must be committed to the development of new players to the sport, whilst balancing the talents of experienced players. With more than 30 ladies having already expressed an interest in joining the club 2012 will be an exciting year for this new team as it plays in the FFV.
Applications should be submitted to agervasoni@hsfp.com.au with some brief details of your football background and coaching experience.
